BANKING/DRT - I represent defaulters (borrowers and guarantors) in matters related to debt recoveries against banks. I also represent few banks, facilitate and counsel the defaulters as to how to arrive at a one-time settlement with the bank.
COMPANY/CORPORATE LAW - I represent Industrial/Business Groups /Houses in DRT, NCLT as well as Punjab and Haryana High Court. I take up matters and assist/advice clients in mergers and acquisitions.
I also handle various other legal matters related to Company Law, Civil Law, Consumer Law, and Family Court.
CONSUMER PROTECTION - I have been representing builders before the consumer forums and has even taken up private clients and counselled them for getting their compensation from government agencies.
MARITAL/SUCCESSION LAWS - I have been primarily dealing and advising on women's rights and domestic violence and facilitated clients in getting custody rights. I have helped clients with maintenance under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
PROPERTY/MUTATION - I have advised clients on the entries and mutations of revenue records.
I entered the legal profession because I was always allured to study about the fundamentals of the law and how to get justice for people at large and also perform pro bono work. My natural inclination to stand up for people's rights was also a reason to pursue law. I have always been impressed by the analytical skills/communication skills and legal acumen of lawyers to get their clients out of mess. My ability to communicate persuasively , my attention to detail and my compassion towards my clients which helps me get them justice is what gives me innate satisfaction.

the strictly legal aspect and try to help them if they are caught up in allied litigation (over and above the
issue). Besides counselling the clients in my areas of expertise, I also align/connect the clients with the
best legal advisors in concerned vertical of litigation ,and other legal specialist to provide a team
efficiency to the client even in other areas of law.

view through to the Bench.
When I am not practicing law, I enjoy immersing myself in reading, meditation, social service and theatre. I am part of EMPOWER, which is an NGO based out of the city and is also the part of THE NARRATORS, a performing ART Society.
